Optech Orthotics & Prosthetics Services Ltd began in 1998 with one simple plan: to provide the most advanced custom products and the best patient care. Since then, Optech O&P has grown throughout Chicago's southwest suburbs with locations in Kankakee, Joliet, and Evergreen Park. Optech O&P practitioners have the skill, knowledge and compassion to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds. From diabetic shoes inserts to a full line of orthoses to custom prostheses, we'll work with you to find the right product and the right fit so you can use technology to advance your lifestyle.

Martin McNab - CPO
MARTIN MCNAB - CPO

Martin McNab - CPO

Marty has over 19 years of experience in orthotics and prosthetics, 13 of those years at Optech O&P. Marty is board certified in orthotics and prosthetics. He earned a BS in Biomedical Engineering at Marquette University and received both his orthotics and prosthetics degrees from Northwestern University. Marty is a member of AAOP, AOPA, MWAAOP and ISOP.

When asked what he enjoyed most about his job, Marty said it was when a patient comes into his office in a wheelchair and leaves walking (with a new prosthesis). "It always brings a smile to my face," Marty said.

When Marty is not at work, he enjoys listening to music and training for marathons. He has also begun brewing his own beer! Marty is a die-hard Chicago Bulls fan and tries to attend as many games as possible. His favorite player is Derrick Rose.

OLIVIA (LIV) COLLAVO

Olivia (Liv) Collavo

Olivia (Liv) Collavo is a Board Eligible Orthotist and current Prosthetics Resident at Optech Orthotics and Prosthetics. Originally from upstate New York, Olivia earned both her Bachelor of Science (2021) and Master of Science (2022) degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Binghamton University before moving to Chicago to study Prosthetics and Orthotics at Northwestern University. She completed her Master of Prosthetics and Orthotics (MPO) in 2024 and went on to complete her Orthotics residency at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

Olivia is passionate about orthotics and prosthetics because every patient’s story is unique, and she enjoys playing a part in helping individuals return to the activities and lifestyles that matter most to them. Whether supporting a child learning to walk, helping someone return to work, or enabling an athlete to get back in the game, she strives to make the process supportive, personalized, and hopeful every step of the way.

In her free time, Olivia is an avid endurance athlete, competing in marathons and Ironman triathlons. She enjoys running, swimming, and cycling along Chicago’s Lakefront Trail. She is also a proud dog mom to a black lab named Bugs, a devoted Buffalo Bills fan, and someone who enjoys cooking, spending time with friends, and making the most of the outdoors.

Appointments may be made by calling or texting the office Monday through Friday. Special appointments may also be made outside of normal office hours on a case-by-case basis.
